Sweating Like a Dog...If Dog's Sweated Like Us

I don't know if it was the 100 degree weather outside coupled with the gym air conditioner's inability to keep up or if I just wasn't in the right place last night but I sweated my arse off y'all.  And it felt great!  A lot of girls don't like to sweat but I do.  It makes me feel like I actually had a great workout and I feel like a bunch of the bad stuff in my body is pouring out.

Without looking it up, I think we perspire to cool our bodies.  It might release toxins too but I don't know.  Yes.  You read that right.  Mrs. Fun Fact doesn't know the answer off the top of her head.  Anyway, I left feeling like a million bucks.  Over the last several days (including my semi binge of a weekend) I was starting to feel lazy and lethargic.  Zumba was the kick in the pants I needed to start today off.  My house is a wreck and my baby is clingy so I'm going to need a lot of energy.  This is why I like to leave for vacations.  I'm going to need a vacation from my vacation when I go back to work next week.

Oh...and I weighed this morning.  My new weight is 151.  I could say 150 because I can't exactly tell where this little red marker lands so I'm just going to play it safe with 151.  This brings my new total to four pounds lost.  *insert ridiculous happy dance in a chair*  This means I am well on my way folks!

Note to self:  Order your new scale from Amazon since you obviously can't remember to get one when you go to town.  Oh, and order your chiffon belly dancing do-hickey (Technical term) as well so you can be a Zumba hipster in class like the other ladies.

  1. I love sweating. (well not at work or anything) but there's nothing better than walking home after a run with sweat running off me, makes me feel like i accomplished something and my body is working!
