Note to self: Unless other people in the vacation party also work out and have a weight loss goal you can expect to not get jack done in this gym while on said vacation.
Yep. This week was a bust. I ate what I wanted, when I wanted and how much I wanted. I did go to Zumba Tuesday (as mentioned in my last post) but that was it. I spent most of my days off in town gathering the needed accouterments for my little boy's first birthday party at the end of next month. This means I have essentially left myself four weekends to get all of the decorations made and to test the tastiness of cake and cupcake batters along with homemade icings. I'm opting for a low sugar cake option for my son. The cupcakes are still up in the air. I'm having to keep in mind that I may be eating it as well and since I broke down and had Dr Peppers and sweet tea this week I need to make sure I don't let too much sugar sneak its way back into my life.
That being said, tomorrow is basically starting over. I am laying here in bed writing this post feeling like a beached whale. The feeling of having lost weight has moved on from this chica. It makes me feel like I let myself down. So, I'm going to start scouring the interwebz for healthy recipes so I at least eat semi right.
On a positive note, I walked about five miles yesterday around the Grapevine Mills Mall. That has to count for something right?
I think starting tomorrow I will do cardio and weights on the same day several times a week. I was going to alternate but I think I'm going to need more. And as much as I hate using an elliptical machine I may use it instead of the treadmill.
Oh, and I did some googling to figure out how many weight watchers points I'd get a day. I'm downloading the mobile app at this moment and am going to use it some to help me with my food decisions. Hopefully this works like I hope.
